Marine Gear Designer-Pennsylvania Manufacturer (full relocation) DescriptionDesign and technical support of marine gear enclosed drives and associated equipment. Responsible for developing marine gear product designs including assemblies, bills of materials, parts lists and detail drawings in conformance with order requirements. Develops tools to improve effectiveness and/or the effectiveness of the department. Performs analytical activities as required. Supports field sales,customer service, field service and manufacturing operations functions (King of Prussia and Regional Service Centers) on technical matters as required. Analyses order content and customer specifications. Interfaces with manufacturing on disposition of deviations and resolves Regional Service Centers manufacturing, assemblies manufacturability and cost effectiveness of marine gear designs. Completes tasks in a dependable and thorough manner within required time frame. Functions in a teamwork atmosphere for all endeavors.
